It's 2026, what possesses someone to make a site that looks like its from the 90's?
I'm totally willing to admit that this is all driven by nostalgia. I'm old enough to remember when my friends got their first modem and I heard that sweet, sweet dial up music. To use the internet was intentional, you had to commandeer the phone line (unless you were lucky to have a separate one for the computer), wait for it to connect before exploring your message boards or web rings. It's something we take for granted now, since we carry it everywhere with us.
So maybe that's why, I want a small place on the internet to do what I want. It doesn't need to be a "portfolio" or some professional representation of me - and it sometimes may be - but I can focus on the things that interest me or bring me joy.
